Made with joy in Troon, Scotland.

Amy Strachan is a Textile Designer working from her studio in Troon, Scotland.

Inspired by colour, people, emotions, nature, art, and the sea, joiie designs blend traditional and contemporary printing techniques.

Each unique collection embraces both light and dark, celebrating the joy found in small, unrepeatable moments.

Amy is also a Mental Health Nurse, inspired by health and wellbeing in both her life and creative practice. Her new collection, Flow, Grow, Sew, celebrates drawing, colour, growth, and finding joy in the everyday. It invites moments of calm, reflection, and playful expression—encouraging connection and creation.

Amy’s small, one-off textile collections are thoughtfully designed, printed at The Glasgow School of Art, and sewn in her little studio in Scotland—with care and consideration for the environment.
